TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to all sales of computers, accessories, and related services provided by PHELETON.

By purchasing from us, the customer (“Buyer”) agrees to the following terms.

1. PRODUCTS & CONDITION

All products sold are:

  • New or factory-certified (as stated at time of sale)
     
  • Inspected, tested, and configured prior to delivery
     
  • Sold with specifications listed on the invoice or product description
     

Minor cosmetic variations may occur and do not affect functionality.

2. PRICING & PAYMENT

  • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars
     
  • Payment is due in full prior to delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing
     
  • Accepted payment methods include cash, electronic transfer, or approved invoicing
     
  • All sales are final except as outlined in the Warranty & Returns section
     

3. DELIVERY & PICKUP

  • Local pickup and local delivery options may be available
     
  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
     
  • Risk of loss transfers to Buyer upon delivery or pickup confirmation
     

White-glove delivery and setup services are optional add-ons and must be purchased separately.

4. LOCAL SUPPORT (DEFINITION)

Local Support means:

  • Direct access to a local point of contact for support requests
     
  • Assistance with initial setup, configuration, and basic troubleshooting
     
  • Coordination of warranty claims and replacements
     
  • Local unit swap in qualifying cases (see Warranty section)
     

Local support does not include:

  • 24/7 IT helpdesk services
     
  • Software development or advanced IT consulting
     
  • Support for third-party software beyond basic configuration
     

5. WARRANTY

Standard Warranty

All laptops include a 1-year limited hardware warranty covering manufacturer defects under normal use.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage
     
  • Liquid damage
     
  • Misuse, abuse, or unauthorized modifications
     
  • Software issues caused by third-party installations
     

DOA / Early Failure Policy

  • Dead on Arrival (DOA): Issues reported within 7 days of delivery may qualify for a local replacement at our discretion
     
  • Early failure: Issues reported within 30 days may qualify for repair or replacement after evaluation
     

Replacement units are subject to availability.

Extended Warranty

Extended warranties, if purchased, extend coverage duration only and follow the same terms and limitations as the standard warranty.

6. RETURNS & REFUNDS

Due to the nature of electronics sales:

  • All sales are final
     
  • No refunds for buyer’s remorse or compatibility issues
     
  • Approved replacements or repairs are the sole remedy under warranty
     

7. SOFTWARE & DATA

  • Buyer is responsible for backing up all data
     
  • Seller is not responsible for data loss under any circumstances
     
  • Software licenses and usage remain subject to their respective publishers’ terms
     

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Seller is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
     
  • Liability is limited to the purchase price of the product sold
     
  • Seller is not responsible for business interruption or loss of profits
     

9. BUSINESS / BULK ORDERS

  • Volume pricing may be offered at Seller’s discretion
     
  • Business orders may require written confirmation and extended lead times
     
  • Customized or bulk orders are non-cancelable once production or sourcing begins
     

10. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of {{Your State}}.

11. ACCEPTANCE

Purchase, pickup, delivery, or use of any product constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Return and Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from PHELETON

By completing a purchase, the customer (“buyer”) agrees to the terms below.

1. ALL SALES ARE FINAL

Due to the nature of computer and electronics sales:

  • All sales are final
     
  • We do not offer refunds for:
     
    • Buyer’s remorse
       
    • Change of mind
       
    • Compatibility issues
       
    • Preference or workflow dissatisfaction
       

Customers are encouraged to ask questions and request a demo before purchase.

2. DEAD ON ARRIVAL (DOA)

If a product is dead on arrival or non-functional:

  • Buyer must notify us within 7 calendar days of delivery or pickup
     
  • We will evaluate the issue and, if confirmed, may:
     
    • Repair the unit, or
       
    • Replace the unit with the same or equivalent model (subject to availability)
       

Refunds are not issued for DOA units — replacement or repair is the sole remedy.

3. EARLY FAILURE (FIRST 30 DAYS)

If a hardware issue occurs within 30 days of delivery:

  • Buyer must notify us promptly
     
  • We will evaluate the issue
     
  • At our discretion, we may:
     
    • Repair the unit
       
    • Replace the unit
       
    • Coordinate manufacturer warranty service
       

Replacement units are subject to availability.

4. WARRANTY SERVICE (AFTER 30 DAYS)

After the initial 30-day period:

  • All covered hardware issues are handled under the limited hardware warranty
     
  • We assist with warranty coordination as part of local support
     
  • Repair or replacement timelines depend on parts availability and supplier response
     

No refunds are issued under warranty claims.

5. NON-RETURNABLE CONDITIONS

Returns, refunds, or replacements are not available for issues caused by:

  • Physical or cosmetic damage
     
  • Liquid damage
     
  • Power surges
     
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
     
  • Software installation, removal, or configuration changes
     
  • Normal wear and tear
     

6. SOFTWARE & DATA

  • Buyer is responsible for backing up all data
     
  • We are not responsible for data loss under any circumstances
     
  • Software-related issues are not grounds for return or refund
     

7. BULK & BUSINESS ORDERS

For multi-unit or business purchases:

  • Orders are non-cancelable once sourcing or configuration begins
     
  • No refunds are issued on bulk or customized orders
     
  • Warranty and replacement terms remain the same unless otherwise stated in writing
     

8. DELIVERY & FEES

  • Delivery, setup, and service fees are non-refundable
     
  • White-glove or on-site services are considered completed once performed
     

9. EXCEPTIONS

Any exception to this policy must be:

  • Approved in writing
     
  • Issued by an authorized representative of PHELETON
     

Verbal assurances do not override this policy.

10. POLICY ACCEPTANCE

Completion of purchase, pickup, delivery, or use of any product constitutes acceptance of this Return & Refund Policy.
